1. About these terms

These terms cover your use of softresistance.com and anything you buy here. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who we are

Soft Resistance is a small, one-person business based in South Dakota, United States. You can reach us at [email protected].

3. Not medical or mental health care

Soft Resistance shares resources, tools, poems and opinions for care and community. Nothing on this site is medical, psychological or legal advice, and it does not replace a professional who knows you. If you or someone near you needs help right now, call or text 988, dial 211 for local resources, or call 911 in an emergency.

4. Our products

Every piece is printed to order by our print partner. We work to show colors, sizes and print placement accurately, but screens differ, and small variations between a photo and the finished piece are normal. Please use the size guide on each product page before you order.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in United States dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it, and shipping is shown before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe. If a price or description is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

6. Orders

You must be 18 or older to place an order, or have a parent or guardian place it for you. Your order is accepted when you receive a payment confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is unavailable, if there is an error, or if we suspect fraud.

7. Shipping, returns and refunds

We ship within the United States. Our Shipping and returns page explains printing times, delivery, and what happens if something arrives damaged, wrong or not at all. That page is part of these terms.

8. Our work

The designs, illustrations, logo, poems, blog posts and other writing on this site belong to Soft Resistance and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to share a link or quote a few lines with credit. Please do not copy, reprint, resell or use the work on products of your own without written permission.

9. Using the site

Please use the site honestly. Do not place fraudulent orders, try to break or overload the site, collect its content by automated means, or use it to harm anyone.

10. Links to other sites

We link to other organizations and services, such as 988, 211, Amazon and Stripe. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but it is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties that are not stated in these terms. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

12. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Soft Resistance is not liable for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using the site or its products, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, United States.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in place when you order is the one that applies to that order.
